No etymology. The comparisons with Armenian թրիք (tʻrikʻ, “dung, manure”), if from *tiHr-, Proto-Germanic *þainaz (“moist”) and Russian тина (tina, “scum, slime”) remain speculative, since there is no evidence of a root *tiH- or *tH-i- in this meaning. The same holds for the connection with τῖφος (tîphos, “pond, marsh”). The verb τήκω (tḗkō, “to melt”) is not related, either.
