Adyghe

Etymology

Trubetzkoy, incorrectly citing the Adyghe form as beurə, derives it from Ossetian; compare Digor Ossetian берӕ (beræ), беурӕ (bewræ).

On the other hand, Shagirov derives from бэ (, much, a lot) +‎ -рэ (-rɛ, adverbial suffix) but remarks that the Iranian (Ossetian) origin of бэ () in principle cannot be excluded: the ending -рӕ (-ræ) of the Ossetian word may have been interpreted as the Adyghe adverbial suffix.
