1. (after oblique) Used to connect a substantive with its location (either spatial or temporal) attributively

   ханан дахь нүх ― xanan daxʹ nüx ― an opening in the wall

   гадаад орнууд дахь дипломатууд ― gadaad ornuud daxʹ diplomatuud ― diplomats abroad

2. (after nominative) Used to form an ordinal numeral from the original cardinal

   зургаа дахь парламент ― zurgaa daxʹ parlament ― the sixth parliament
