уҡыу • (uqıw) (intransitive)

1. to read

   Китапты беренсенән бишенсе бүлеккә тиклем уҡыу.

   Kitaptı berensenən bişense bülekkə tiklem uqıw.

   To read the book from the first to the fifth chapter.

   Уны ҡышын класташ малайҙар менән журналдың һәр һаны теткеләнгәнсе уҡый инек.

   Unı qışın klastaş malayźar menən jurnaldıñ hər hanı tetkeləngənse uqıy inek.

   In the winters, we used to read it (together) with classmate boys until (we) tore each issue of the journal into pieces.

   Бөгөн дә мин үҙ шиғырҙарын башҡаларға һеңдерерҙәй итеп уҡый алмаған шағирҙарға шикләнеңкерәп ҡарайым.
