Զմիւռնէսն)՝ զոմն ի խեցէմորթիցն ի տուն իւր կոչէր առնել նմա ճաշ, եւ ի մահիճս հանգուցանել․ եւ նա յանձն ոչ առնոյր, եթէ չէ դիւրին ինձ մերկանալ եւ անկողին մտանել, թէեւ ի ճաշն վայելեմ։ Եւ դժուարամերկն լինել ցուցանել կամելով, սակաւ ինչ յիւրմէ զխեցին թողացուցեալ, ձգէ գազանն քար ի պատեանն, եւ ըմբռնեալ ուտէ։

- The conger invited a shell-fish home for a dinner and to rest in bed, but it did not promise: "it is not easy for me to bare myself and to go to bed, although I would enjoy the dinner." And willing to show that it is difficult for it to bare itself, it slightly loosened its shell, and caught it and ate.
