1. kingship

     לִקְצָת יַרְחִין תְּרֵי־עֲשַׂר עַל־הֵיכַל מַלְכוּתָא דִּי בָבֶל מְהַלֵּךְ הֲוָה׃

     liqṣāṯ yarḥīn tərē-ʿăśar ʿal-hēḵal malḵūṯā dī ḇā́ḇel məhallēḵ hăwā.

     At the end of twelve months he was walking upon the royal palace of Babylon.

2. reign, rule

     בֵּאדַיִן בְּטֵלַת עֲבִידַת בֵּית־אֱלָהָא דִּי בִּירוּשְׁלֶם וַהֲוָת בָּטְלָא עַד שְׁנַת תַּרְתֵּין לְמַלְכוּת דָּרְיָוֶשׁ מֶלֶךְ־פָּרָס׃

     bēḏáyin bəṭēlaṯ ʿăḇīḏaṯ bēṯ-ʾĕlāhā dī bīrūšəlem wahăwāṯ bāṭəlā ʿaḏ šənaṯ tartēn ləmalḵūṯ dārəyā́weš méleḵ-pārās.

     Then ceased the work of the house of God which is at Jerusalem; and it ceased unto the second year of the reign of Darius king of Persia.

     ūḇāṯərāḵ təqūm malḵū ʾoḥŏrī ʾăraʿ minnāḵ ūmalḵū ṯəlīṯāʾā ʾoḥŏrī dī nəḥāšā dī ṯišlaṭ bəḵol-ʾarʿā.

     And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee; and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.
