Borrowed from Aramaic חֲצִינָא / ܚܰܨܺܝܢܳܐ (ḥaṣṣīnā, “axe”), or even directly from Akkadian 𒍏𒄩𒍣𒅔 (ḫaṣṣinnum, “hoe”) via the Gulf into the pre-Arabic dialects spoken there.
