      How to wash olive oil.
      Take as much as you like from the purest olive oil, cast it in a cauldron, pour on it a bit of limpid water, throw into it two dates and a handful of flour tied up in a cloth of linen, and boil (all this) gently on a low flame until the water vanishes and the oil remains in a clear state; take out the flour and the dates, let the oil cool off, and use it as required.
