نَصَبَ • (naṣaba) I, non-past يَنْصُبُ or يَنْصِبُ‎ (yanṣubu or yanṣibu)

1. (transitive) to set up, to lay, to erect, to raise, to build

   نَصَبَ نَفْسَهُ لِشَيْءٍ

   ‫naṣaba nafsahu lišayʔin‬

   to dedicate oneself to sth

2. (transitive, grammar) to raise the vowel to /a/
   1. (grammar) to put into the accusative case
   2. (grammar) to put into the subjunctive mood
