a. 1296, عمر بن يوسف بن عمر بن رسول الغسَّاني التُّركُماني, المُعتَمَد في الأدوية المُفرَدَة, s.v. سَمَك:ويصلّح السمك الهازباء إذا اتخذ بالخلّ للمحمومين والمحرورين، وينفع أصحاب اليرَقان والأكباد الحارّة.- And the hāzibāʾ fish mends, when taken with vinegar, the hot-tempered and feverish individuals, and helps those having jaundice and hot livers.
