    Unknown; probably unrelated to the above term.[2] Compare श॒र (śará, reed), शरु॑ (śáru, missile), शर्य॑ (śárya, arrow), all attested in the Ṛgveda. Some sources instead lemmatise the word as शारी॑ (śā́rī).[3]
