Cognate with Northern Thai ᨴᩤ᩠ᨦ, Khün ᨴᩤ᩠ᨦ, Isan ทาง, Lao ທາງ (thāng), ᦑᦱᧂ (taang), Tai Dam ꪕꪱꪉ, Shan တၢင်း (táang), Tai Nüa ᥖᥣᥒᥰ (täang), Phake တင် (taṅ), Ahom 𑜄𑜂𑜫 (taṅ), Zuojiang Zhuang tangz (Longzhou).
