     มาตรา ๓๓๘ ผู้ใดข่มขืนใจผู้อื่นให้ยอมให้หรือยอมจะให้ตนหรือผู้อื่นได้ประโยชน์ในลักษณะที่เป็นทรัพย์สิน โดยขู่เข็ญว่าจะเปิดเผยความลับ ซึ่งการเปิดเผยนั้นจะทำให้ผู้ถูกขู่เข็ญหรือบุคคลที่สามเสียหายจนผู้ถูกข่มขืนใจยอมเช่นว่านั้น ผู้นั้นกระทำความผิดฐานรีดเอาทรัพย์ ต้องระวางโทษจำคุกตั้งแต่หนึ่งปีถึงสิบปีและปรับตั้งแต่สองหมื่นบาทถึงสองแสนบาท

     Section 338 anyone coerces another into letting or agreeing to let him or another obtain a benefit in the form of property by threatening to disclose a secret, of which the disclosure would expose the threatened person or a third person to injury, to the extent that the coerced person yields thereto, that one commits an offence of blackmailing and shall be liable to imprisonment from one year to ten years and a fine from twenty thousand baht to two hundred thousand baht.
