Etymology

From Sanskrit समरस (samarasa, literally “to have equal feelings; to share the same feelings”), from सम (sama) +‎ रस (rasa). Clipping of เสกสมรส which was coined by Vajiravudh to be used with royal marriages.

     Section 1465 If the husband and wife have, prior to their marriage, not adopted any special agreement regarding their property, the relationship between the husband and wife in relation to their property shall be governed by the provisions of the present Chapter.
