სრულიად • (sruliad)
While the word is similar to and derived from სრული (sruli) (same as სრულად (srulad)), its usage differs. Specifically, სრულიად (sruliad) is employed to convey a heightened degree of something, such as something being brand new, or negligibly small. If we applied the word სრულად (srulad) to the former example, it would not convey the same sense and would mean instead "fully/wholly new", which is not the right collocation. It is typically also found in sentences expressing complete agreement with or total acceptance of something, such as სრულიად ვეთანხმები (sruliad vetanxmebi) (totally agree). However, in cases of strong reactions, such as სრულიად მოულოდნელად (sruliad moulodnelad) ("completely unexpectedly" or "utterly surprisingly"), it takes on a slightly different meaning. It can also used to indicate inclusivity, covering totality of a certain group or territory such as "სრულიად საქართველოს" ("of the entire Georgia" or "Georgia-wide"), either corresponding to the English suffix -wide or the prefix all-.
