   • 昨晚八時一刻，小坡大馬路與勿拉士峇沙律十字口，發生汽車與摩哆脚車相撞事件，該摩哆車駕駛人當塲受傷，旋被送入醫院，受傷者爲關稅部職員陳建來，傷勢不重，敷藥後卽至辦事處工作云。 [Singaporean Mandarin, trad.]

     Yesterday, at quarter past eight, at the intersection of North Bridge Road and Bras Basah Road, a car and a motorcycle were in a collision. The driver of the motorcycle was injured at the scene and was immediately sent to the hospital. The injured man was Jianlai Chen, staff of the Customs Department. His injury was not severe, and he went to work at the agency after having his wounds dressed.

     I said to myself, "It's nothing. That robber robbed the bank. When he was running away, his motorcycle was in an accident; the vehicle was totalled and the man died. I just so happened to pass by and find out that a bag of bills were thrown beside my feet. I just picked it up conveniently.
