東人

     Dōngrén zhī zǐ, zhí láo bùlái. Xīrén zhī zǐ, càncàn yīfú.

     The sons of the easterners are only summoned without encouragement, while the sons of the westerners shine in splendid dresses.

1. (historical) a political faction in the Korean court which emerged in a dispute over the appropriate powers of royal in-laws in the 1570s, opposing the 西人 (xīrén, “Westerner”) faction; around 1589, they split into the 北人 (běirén, “Northerner”) and 南人 (nánrén, “Southerner”) factions
