     Further confirmation of the hypothesis that there was a regular export of metals from Attika to Egypt around 1400 bc comes from the analysis of the copper in a bronze dagger with an inscription of Amenōphis III found at Beth Shan in Palestine, which indicates that it probably came from Laurion.
