Er verwertete Baum- und Strauchschnitt und setzte einen natürlichen Verrottungsprozess in Gang und gewann dadurch warmes Wasser, Warmluft, Biogas und hochwertigen Kompost. Hierbei kam es weder zu einer Verbrennung noch fiel Abfall an.- The compost heater was first developed by the Frenchman Jean Pain (1928-1981) in Provence. He used tree and shrub cuttings and started a natural rotting process, thereby producing warm water, warm air, biogas and high-quality compost. There was no combustion and no waste was generated.
