Usage notes
There is no village actually named Brentor, there is one named North Brentor, with a hamlet known as South Brentor near Brent Tor, the hill. Brentor did appear as a location in the South Brentor area on an Ordnance Survey map published in 1946,[1] but not on later maps. South Brentor is shown on OS Explorer map 112 (Launceston & Holsworthy) September 2015 edition.
