Has anybody found another good message board? This place is kind of slow, because I used to hang out at the board at pokéland. (Yeah, I was GeoDude there too) but some loser put porno or something on it in the middle of the night, so they closed it down, and hence, I'm now a pokémaniac without a board. Thanks in advance.

My little brother got the "Pokemon Power" insert from the Nintedo magazine and wanted me to tape the shows for him. I found the cartoon very interesting, and so I became a Pokémaniac. At my age, I was concerned that this obsession with Pokémon might be abnormal and unhealthy. Recently, I met up with an old college friend of mine, about as old as me, and it turns out he's a big Pokémaniac too (he bought an imported Pocket Pikachu) and I guess that made me feel better. I'm old enough to make my own money, which means I can buy all the Pokémon merchandise I want (I don't know if that's a good thing or not).

I'm 27 and I'm a bona-fide Pokémaniac! I don't find it lacking at all... I personally can't stand RPGs, but I love playing Pokémon. I also can't stand Anime, but, I love watching the TV show...Behold the power of Pokémon!
  • 1999 March 1, Static Shocker <[email protected]>, “A poll: How do you rank on the Pokémaniac scale?”, in alt.games.nintendo.pokemon (Usenet), message-ID <OneVxSDZ#[email protected]>:
#3: How many Pokémon do you have? A: 151, plus 2 glitches. B: Less than 151. C: Only 1. If you have answered all of those questions as "A" then you have no life. Go out and play before you get sick from eyestrain, looking at your computer and Game Boy screen. If you have answered the majority of those questions as "A" then you are a complete Pokémaniac. Well, that's not bad, but keep up the good work.

I'm sure all of us saw "Who Gets To Keep Togepi?" (and if you didn't, what are you doing here???), and anyone who enjoys PokéWars must have thought, "How can we fit that into PokéWars?" Well, whether or not you're a PokéManiac, here's my take on Togepi.

16 since Jan. 17th. mong the elders of this group, I believe. And no, I didn't get laughed at for being a pokemaniac. Actually, a classmate asked to borrow Pikachu for a test. :)

I'm not far enough into the game , but the locations of a lot of Pokemon have changed, many moves and TMs have been reassigned, and it's in colour. I've bought it, but if you're short on cash or not that much of a Pokemaniac I wouldn't bother.

I've been a POKéMANIAC since the first badly subtitled episodes came to comic conventions, and this weird RPG, in japanese was taking over my life.

I, as a Pokemaniac long before the appearance of the phenomenon in Israel, asked my aunt in Canada to send me a CGB and PKMN Yellow. After several months, it arrived. I beat the league several days ago, have Snorlax, Mewtwo, Articuno and Zapdos (working on that Moltres), and am trying to fill up my Dex.
