Borrowed from Finnish Koskela.
Koskela (plural Koskelas)
From koski (“rapids”) + -la. The neighborhood in Helsinki is named after the rapids of the river Vantaa located in the area; the Swedish name Forsby is older than the Finnish name, as is common for places in Helsinki.
