Notes

Text with Vedic accents needs manual transliteration in case of independent svarita following udatta and not followed by another udatta (see here for a list of Rigvedic occurrences). Either the full transliteration of the text can be given with |tr=, or the |subst= parameter can be used with substitution of the normal svarita accent ॑ (U+0951) with grave accent ` (U+0060) or with ᳡ (U+1CE1) (substitution with text in Roman script can cause errors). For example:
{{Q|sa||RV|5|14|4|quote=अ॒ग्निर् जा॒तो अ॑रोचत॒ घ्नन् दस्यू॒ञ् ज्योति॑षा॒ तमः॑ । अवि॑न्द॒द् गा अ॒पः स्वः॑ ॥|subst=स्वः॑//स्वः`}}

resulting in

c. 1500 BCE – 1000 BCE, Ṛgveda 5.14.4:
अ॒ग्निर् जा॒तो अ॑रोचत॒ घ्नन् दस्यू॒ञ् ज्योति॑षा॒ तमः॑ । अवि॑न्द॒द् गा अ॒पः स्वः॑
agnír jātó arocata ghnán dásyūñ jyótiṣā támaḥ. ávindad gā́ apáḥ svàḥ.
