@BigDom, Shumkichi, Erutuon, EngiN33R I think I've pinged everyone potentially interested in this. BigDom and Shum for their input on what should be transcribed, and Eru on the code. I outsourced some of the gaps in the Polish module to my friend who knows coding. He graciously spent his evening working out the kinks I pointed his attention to - namely the lack of backwards voicing assimilation (test cases are now passing), and the syllable breaking occuring after adding /j/ to palatal consonants. I started a discussion with Shum about nasal assimilation. Personally, I think the nasal assimilation is fine as it is, however, Shum is a native speaker. That said, I've noticed people in my life don't always follow nasal assimilation, and I wonder if it's worth adding to the module. As for palatalization, I think /j/ should definitely be marked, and I'm wondering about /ʲ/. Finally, as for the diphthong problem (auto vs naukowiec), I think what we have now works and we can spell it in the module, much like we do with words like zamarznąć. You've probably all noticed - I've been obsessed with the pronunciation section of the pages recently, and I've asked BigDom to help create a unified template for things like IPA, audio, rhymes, hyphenation, and homophones, like the Finnish page has. I'd like to have this module agreed upon, so that it won't cause further problems with this new module. Vininn126 (talk) 22:42, 10 September 2021 (UTC) @Vininn126 Not sure what's been done to the template over the last couple of days, but currently all words beginning with are being transcribed with /f/ (see wybór) and is showing up as /ʂ/ (e.g. rząd).
