@Rhemmiel: Why is “The full feminine suffix is reconstructed as *-at, *-t with lexically conditioned syncope”. On the contrary I have thus far seen *-t as the default, *-at as an alternative form; its ousting *-t being an innovation of Arabic and Ethiopian. @Fay Freak: Whether *-at or *-t is suffixed seems to depend on some Proto-Semitic syllable weight rule which afaik hasn’t been explicitly formulated. Having two pages like you said seems appropriate for the time being. Rhemmiel (talk) 01:46, 31 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
