Does this word ever exist in Arabic? آلهة āliha itself is plural form of إله ilāh. "goddess" is إلهة ilāha not آلهة āliha. --Z 16:29, 24 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
- This was a long time ago, so I do not remember my thinking at the time. Hans Wehr dictionary indicates that the plural of آلهة (aaliha, goddess) is formed by adding -ات: aalihaat. But آلهة is also a plural form, the plural of إله (ilaah, god, deity, godhead). So آلهة is two different words, but we do not have this indicated on the آلهة page. I stopped working on Arabic entries because of bad edits being made by other editors who do not know anything about Arabic, and that’s why the آلهة was never completed. —Stephen (Talk) 18:28, 24 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
