@Aryaman Hi, seems it's borrowed from Dari Persian چوکی (chaukii) which means "chair". Assamese চকী (soki) also means chair and the hindi word means stool, bench.

- @Sagir Ahmed Msa: According to the Oxford Hindi-English Dictionary, the word is from Sanskrit चतुष्क (catuṣka, “having four”), via Sauraseni Prakrit 𑀘𑀉𑀓𑁆𑀓 (caükka).
