Change to "Counter"

Without discussion, an editor has just changed the Mandarin heading "Measure word" to "Counter." This is not a good change, because in the Mandarin language such words are called "measure words" or "classifiers," but not "counters" (though the Japanese language may use this term). It's best for us, at this project, to use one or other of the most commonly used terms in English (in this case "measure word" or "classifier," but not "counter"). ==Counter== is an acceptable part of speech in Wiktionary, measure word or classifier is not. All non-standard terms get into Category:Mandarin terms needing attention, {{rfc-header|Measure word|lang=cmn}}. Sorry, I didn't know I had notify our anonymous user :), here's the discussion Template_talk:cmn-new#New_PoS. I will add "counter" to the glossary if it's not there. --Anatoli (обсудить/вклад) 04:55, 1 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
That makes no sense. The term "counter" is not used in English to refer to measure words or classifiers in the Mandarin language. The change, made without prior discussion, was incorrect and should be reversed pending discussion. 173.89.236.187 04:59, 1 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
And who are you? The editors who work with the language decide, besides there are Wiktionary rules. It's ===Measure word=== that could be requested, because it's not accepted by the formatting bots and add {{rfc-header|Measure word|lang=cmn}} and problem categories. "===Counter===" is an acceptable header, unlike "===Measure word===". If you wish to continue, please post on Wiktionary:Beer_parlour/2014/April. Don't add attention template, any more. --Anatoli (обсудить/вклад) 05:06, 1 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
