There may be something to this ... we have a definition listed at bleed, under the noun section, describing a sense related to RPG's. It would be odd for there to be a noun sense of bleed but not a related verb sense, so perhaps this could be expanded. Oddly it seems to just be a noun. I was able to find plenty of people writing at great length about the phenomenon of bleed, specifically with respect to people identifying with their role-playing characters, without ever once using it as a verb.
