I've deleted the comment under "usage notes" that claimed "fully fledged is more technically correct", since (i) it isn't clear what "technically correct" means, (ii) OED's entry for "fully fledged" simply cross-refers to "full fledged" and Merriam Webster doesn't include "fully fledged" at all, and (iii) there are plenty of compounds of "full"+Past Participle, though "full-blown" is perhaps the only comparable one that is still in common use (full-bodied and full-blooded have a different semantic composition). "Full fledged" is the longer established, and still current, idiom; "fully fledged" is relatively new; and since this is clearly an idiomatic expression, "technical correctness" in any useful sense doesn't play a role.
