I'm not sure if this is a common enough misspelling to deserve an entry, but I was interested to find out that (as of 22:26, 20 March 2009 (UTC)) it gets 89 results on Google Book search (although some are for a person with this name), 283 on Google Groups, and 702 on Google (with the duplicate filter off). Also, although this appears to be a typo in the catalog record (as it shows up corrected in the catalog of the library the holds it), Worldcat shows a South Carolina government publication with this in the title. So, I'm putting these notes here for the edification of anyone else who comes across them. - There are misspellings, and then there are typos. Nobody, shown what they had written, would maintain that galnce was the way they intended to spell it. I think we should probably avoid having entries for this sort of typo. Equinox ◑ 22:32, 20 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
