Other uses of "go blue"? "Her hands went blue with cold." But the difference in choice of colours by US and UK political parties is interesting enough and the info given is correct, so keep. DonnanZ (talk) 08:37, 14 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
For sake of posterity, this sense of cold is the definition Merriam-Webster gave. DAVilla 09:40, 16 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
The verb go can be used as a copula (sense 10), synonymous with become and turn, as in “he went livid with anger”, “she went pale as milk”, and “Alexa and Maisie both went crimson.” Obviously totally SOP.  --Lambiam 11:46, 15 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
Also a comedian could "go blue" (use obscene or profane jokes). But that's still SOP, you can sing blue or talk blue or transmogrify blue, if you use profanity to do it. 71.206.45.85
Keep, for the party colours above, and the other senses, like to blush. DonnanZ (talk) 08:37, 14 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
Note these are defined at red, blue. DAVilla 09:40, 16 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
Delete both, SOP. PUC11:50, 15 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Indecent haste. Isn't there a rule where 28 days should elapse before deletion? DonnanZ (talk) 21:49, 16 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
Even so, I don't see anyone making post hoc arguments against deletion. bd2412 T 03:47, 24 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
I think that's an admission that such a rule exists. DonnanZ (talk) 13:14, 24 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
Although 28 days is the norm, it's not a hard-and-fast rule. I'm not saying either is justified here, but there are such things as speedy deletion and a "snowball" close. Entries can always be undeleted, if anyone objects. It's more important to refrain from archiving too fast, so people have a chance to see what's happened and raise an objection, if necessary.
