Girl an Alternative Form of Grill?

It's not even an anagram. Frankly I'm not sure what it's doing there. If I'm wrong and it is an alternative form of grill then some suitable explanation in the girl article would be expected. Mnichau (talk) 21:55, 10 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Grille and Grill not synonymous

I think someone should look again at these two words. They are very closely related but not synonymous. The corresponding Wikipedia articles are clear. — This comment was unsigned.

Yes, I don't think a "grille" can be the cooking kind; if so, we should qualify the alternative spelling. Equinox 11:39, 12 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

The device described is actually a brazier

Re: A device comprising a source of radiant heat and a means of holding food near it, to cook it; a barbecue; a griddle.

I think that the device described above is actually a brazier. At present, this device is referred to by one of its component parts - the "grill." So the definition is correct. However, we're missing the definition of this component part: that part on which one puts food to cook. It is the part from which the whole device has currently taken its name. For example, when one says "I'm going to take a wire brush and scrub the grill." They aren't referring to the entire apparatus. They are referring to the part on which one puts food.
