indeff
(this talk paragraph has also been added to the indeffed page)
I added a redirect, I am not strong on English, maybe it is a verb/noun/, I am unsure. If I made this change in error, please correct. The definition of the word "indeff" (used at a high rate by Wikipedians) cannot be found via bing, google, dictionary.com, merriam webster, etc. (places where English speakers may look for the meaning). I believe that since the word means that someone (especially a child or non-native English speaker) could be permabanned, that having the definition is very important. I only accidentally cane across "indeffed" after I saw a Wikipedian use that word and then I came here and luckily it was defined. If someone can clean up my mistake, maybe change the redirect page to an entire page (if needed), thanks, sorry for my mess, I figured a redirect was better than people being perma-banned from Wikipedia just because they didn't know a technical term (especially if they were a child which happened to me a lot when I was young, on non-wiki sites, I tried so hard to find the definitions of the technical terms but was never able to find them until I was grown up). 134.186.234.108 01:13, 28 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
- It's spelled indef in the usage you're referring to. (Also, we don't really do redirects here and we have nothing to do with people being permabanned at Wikipedia.) —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 01:17, 28 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
- Should it be redirected to indef then, it is commonly used in Wikipedia with spelling of "indeff" 134.186.234.108 01:19, 28 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
- I literally had such a hard time finding the definition that I never came across the spelling "indef" 134.186.234.108 01:20, 28 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
