RFV of the adjective sense "Opposed to Hindutva or Hinduism." We may be missing a noun sense by which anyone who is perceived as militantly (pro-)Muslim (who might oppose e.g. Christianity in the West, more often than Hinduism) may be derogated as a jihadist, and we were missing a sense by which any militant extremist can be derided thus (I just added it), but I'm sceptical that "jihadist" actually means "opposed to Hinduism". I dunno. It's possible—cites will tell—but I suspect we may need to broaden the sense. - -sche (discuss) 00:13, 7 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

It seems plausible to me that some Hindu nationalists use this as a derogatory label for opponents of Hindu nationalism, but does that deserve a definition?  --Lambiam 13:07, 7 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
