Should entries like this give only literal translations or should they give natural translations? I'm in favour of the latter with literal back-translations in parentheses:

Hi Hippietrail,
My opinion is that for phrase book translations they should be translated the way the native speakers would say them. If people want a literal translation, they can look up the separate words. The translations have to sound as natural as possible.Polyglot 13:24, 13 Jan 2004 (UTC)

For some reason, the RTL ones are not working unless the ellipsis is in the middle. If the ellipsis is at the end, it shows up on the wrong end. If somebody knows some HTML or Unicode RTL magic, please let me know. Hippietrail 14:20, 19 Jan 2004 (UTC)

The Urdu is perfect if you have an Urdu font. Urdu Naskh Asiatype is such a font. Is it ever a good idea to put font tags in Wiktionary? Hippietrail 14:20, 19 Jan 2004 (UTC)
