This is a real sense, and indeed a very common one in the gaming community. I have restored it with citations (and with a new definition that better captures the range of uses). —Caesura(t) 19:27, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
UK Booze reference
I thought the booze reference was a reference to the barkeep POURing the booze, not the patrons DRINKing it. I think I heard on an episode of Foyle's War the phrase: "The barkeep pulls a good pint". Purplebackpack89 (Notes Taken) (Locker) 20:28, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
- "Pulling a pint" is what you say: pouring it from a pump. "Taking a pull" at a pint is having a swig, or big sip. Equinox ◑ 20:31, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
