This spelling apears much rarer than simoleon or samoleon. I'm inclined to give it the benefit of the doubt because spelling of an unstressed vowel, particularly before a nasal, is quite unstable, and this is a slang term used more in speech than writing. I wouldn't be surprised if semoleon turns up in older print sources from time to time.
If this seems weak, go ahead and gun semoleon, but please leave the other two. -dmh 16:36, 18 Jan 2005 (UTC)
I'm waiting for the opinion of people who know English better than I do. Polyglot 08:52, 22 Jan 2005 (UTC)
    • It's a legitimate stang word. "Simoleon" would be the correct spelling. I've treated the three others as misspellings. Eclecticology 21:33, 2 Feb 2005 (UTC)
