I was brought to this page by searching for the term mellifluos - I've only ever heard this word used to describe a tune or a voice. Neither of the stated definitions of smooth seem to cover this meaning. Lem73 09:08, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

- They didn't claim it was. They said that if "smooth" is used as part of the gloss of "mellifluous", there must be a sense for "smooth" that can be understood as referring to voices or sounds.
