  • RFD-kept: no 2/3-majority for deletion after several months and I don't think we should override the keeps (WT:VP). However, I will note that THUB could be seen as debatable here since state enterprise is also a common term and e.g. staatsbedrijf would be a transparent compound translation of it. OTOH, state-owned enterprise indicates state enterprise to be a hypernym: is it really? And "technical term" is not a CFI criterion. At the same time, CFI overrides in favor of keeping are not forbidden and are a long-term practice. Therefore, whether someone invoked THUB in a weak manner or whether "technical term" should be dismissed does not seem for me to decide but rather for all those who have seen this RFD and abstained by not participating. If someone wants to reopen this RFD and keep it here for more months, fine. --Dan Polansky (talk) 10:22, 6 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
