Regarding the question about the singular noun "thank": I checked in three offline dictionaries. One of them (OED) listed "thank" as a noun, but indicated it was obsolete. - It would make sense that "thank" still exists as a noun. We still say "thanks" to mean "I give you my thoughts of appreciation" or something similar. It just no longer exists as a singular noun. Maerk 11:36, 13 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
