unprofessional

2nd sense. Figurative use (presumably by a human resources department) is not distinct. --Connel MacKenzie 16:31, 28 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I object to deletion. This is a common figurative sense. It is evidently used by a human resources department of just about every company. Tedius Zanarukando 21:13, 20 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Despite the remarkable lack of discussion above, I think it is appropriate to retain this sense. Not all amateurs are unprofessional, present company excepted. Some dictionaries provide only the figurative sense, but the literal sense appears to meet CFI as well. -- Visviva 17:18, 1 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
