RFD discussion: October 2016
The following information has failed Wiktionary's deletion process (permalink).
It should not be re-entered without careful consideration.
This has been deleted a few times, but at Wikipedia#English it is listed as an alternate form of "Wikipedia". Therefore this should be undeleted, and created as a {{alternative form of}} for Wikipedia. That would also solve the problem of any other project linking to the lowercase form on Wiktionary.

- "wikipedia" is a capitalisation error, isn't it? I don't think it should be given legitimacy as an alternative form. Mihia (talk) 20:51, 3 October 2016 (UTC)
- Remove as a link from Wikipedia as an error not an alternative form. Wikipedia isn't a common noun under any capitalization, it's a countable proper noun like Pepsi or Nissan. Renard Migrant (talk) 21:25, 3 October 2016 (UTC)

- I don't think so. As far I am aware, "Wikipedia" or (wrong) "wikipedia" always means *.wikipedia.org, not any old wiki-based encyclopedia. Mihia (talk) 18:05, 4 October 2016 (UTC)

- There is no reason for an undeletion discussion. This entry has never existed as anything other than vandalism. Just create the entry. --WikiTiki89 14:44, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
Now a verb
Used as verb by a Trump supporter, as reported in The Guardian:

Here is the quote (but not sure why The Guardian subs did not downcase "Wikipedia") (emphasis added):
“I’ll support him because Trump supports him,” Betsy Gatchell Goff said. Isaiah White admitted: “Honestly, I had to Wikipedia him, but he seems all right.”
