This template may be used in "References" and "Further reading" sections, and on talk pages, to cite the The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language website (https://www.ahdictionary.com, which uses the 2016 (5th) print edition), as well as the 1971 and 2000 (4th) print editions of the work.
The template takes the following positional or named parameters:
