There are currently (2024) no online versions of the Dictionary that the template can link to.

Parameters

The template takes the following parameters:

  • edition – this template defaults to the 2nd edition (2002), also reprint of 2005.
  • |edition= – to created templates for different edition e.g. for {{R:Babiniotis 2008}} specify |edition=3rd
  • |1= or |lemma= or |entry= – the entry in the Dictionary cited. If this is not specified, the name of the Wiktionary entry is used, unless |nolink= is used.
  • |2= or |page=, or |pages= – the page number(s) of the print version of the Dictionary on which the entry appears. When quoting a range of pages, separate the first and last pages of the range with an en dash, like this: |pages=110–111.
