Usage
This template may be used in the "References" and "Further reading" sections of entries and on talk pages to provide a citation to E. Cobham Brewer's work Dictionary of Phrase and Fable (new edition, 1895, 2 volumes). It can be used to create a link to online versions of the work at the Internet Archive:
- Volume I (pages 1–720; A–Labourer is Worthy of His Hire).
- Volume II (pages 721–1440; Labourers–Zulfagar; bibliographical appendix).
Parameters
The template takes the following parameters:
|1= or |entry= – the entry in the work cited. If not specified, the name of the Wiktionary entry is used.|2= or |page=, or |pages= – the page number(s) on which the entry appears. When quoting a range of pages, note the following:
