Template:R:Free On-line Dictionary of Computing

This template may be used in "References" and "Further reading" sections, and on talk pages, to cite the Free On-line Dictionary of Computing.

|1= or |entry= – the entry in the dictionary. If this is not specified, the name of the Wiktionary entry is used.
|2= or |accessdate= – the date when the entry was accessed.
|3=, |text=, or |passage= – the passage to be quoted.
|4= or |date= – the date of the entry when known, which could be a full date or only a year. If no date is specified, the template indicates "1985–", the year in which Denis Howe claims copyright began.
|nodot= – by default, the template adds a full stop (period) at the end of the citation. To suppress this punctuation, use |nodot=1 or |nodot=yes.

Unless otherwise specified, the following examples assume that the template is being used on the Wiktionary entry page “absolute path”.
