To turn off the default formatting for the purpose of specifying a different formatting using wikitext markup and templates, specify|noformat=1or|noformat=yes.|2=or|volume=– the volume of the Dictionary in which the entry appears.|3=,|page=or|pages=– the page(s) of the Dictionary on which the entry appears. If citing a range of pages, separate the first and last page numbers of the range with an en dash, like this:|pages=110–111.|column=or|columns=– the column number(s) of the Dictionary on which the entry appears.|4=,|text=, or|passage=– a passage quoted from the Dictionary.|nodot=– by default, the template adds a full stop (period) at the end of the citation. To suppress this punctuation, use|nodot=1or|nodot=yes.
