This template cites the uncompleted The Arabic–English Lexicon, compiled by Edward William Lane (died 1876). The dictionary is sorted by roots. The template uses the usual Template:cite-book parameters.

Some additional parameters can be used to link to differnt online versions:

  • Instead of |entry= or |1=, any of the following parameters can take as value the term to display and link:
