This template generates a link to the Grand dictionnaire terminologique (GDT) of the Office québécois de la langue française (OQLF, Quebec Board of the French Language). It routes the link through the Canadian web site Liendex as described in this blog post (in French) to automatically look up the GDT Id_Fiche number. It takes two optional parameters

  • |1=entry name (optional) the entry to be linked to. Defaults to the page name. Used for example for terms listed under other entries. For example idioms that are listed under the principal noun or verb in that idiom.
  • |alt= (optional) to display link text other than |1= or the page name.
  • |nodot=0 (optional) whether to leave out the final dot (provide a value of 1 or greater to leave out)
  • |dot= (optional) to include the final dot; opposite of |nodot= for convenience
